Joyce Coyle grew up in a small town in Scotland where she became a nurse almost 40 years ago.
Starting out as a maternity nurse, her love of community and connecting with people is what kept her in nursing all these years.
She moved to Melbourne with her husband and young family in 1997 where she continued to be a midwife. In 2013, Joyce became a cosmetic nurse because she saw there was an opportunity for a business that delivered natural-looking cosmetic skin therapies rather than the fake look that seemed to be everywhere.
Starting in a small town in Melbourne, Joyce practiced out of a yoga studio which she loved but in 2019 she moved to Port Douglas with her husband of 30 years. She immediately fell in love with the beach and the small town feel and feels like she’s found her forever home. She says it’s the best move they ever made!

Joyce’s values permeate through Natural Aesthetics and everything she does.
Joyce has a deep love of community. Being from a small town, she developed a strong sense of community from a very early age and loves bringing people together. You may have seen her donations in raffles for local causes for this very reason.
Something that is so important to small towns such as Port Douglas is supporting local businesses. When she’s not in her studio, you’ll often find Joyce walking along the beach talking to people or shopping up a storm in a local boutique.
Whilst her business deals with enhancing your external natural aesthetic, Joyce believes that that is only part of the equation. A healthy diet, exercise, and good mental health all factor into your beauty. That’s one of the reasons Joyce can often be found in a local yoga class.
